EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

Self hypnosis cd1

EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture except you don't use needles. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping them with your fingertips as illustrated above.
EFT reprogrammes your mind so that you no longer are affected
in the same emotional way. It lessens the distressing emotional symptoms.
It deactivates the emotional centre of the brain.

EFT works on the principal that

“The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system”
The techniques are easily learned and you may only need one or two sessions

What can be treated with EFT?

EFT has been used very successfully for post tramatic stress syndrome.
EFT is worth trying on any issue whether emotional or physical.

What can you expect at a consultation.?

The practitioner will take a case history and ask you what you would like to work on.

The practitioner will guide you and show you where to tap on the body.
The points are on the face, body and hands.

While tapping you repeat out loud the issue that you want to help. It is very important to be specific about the issue and not too general.

You will be given instructions to take with you, although once learned it is very easy to remember

A consultation will last approximately one hour.

The results can be dramatic and only one session may be required.

For some people several sessions may be required
